The Preliminary Examination serves as a screening test for selection to the Main Examination.

Stage 2: Main Examination
Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear in the Main Examination.
The Main Examination evaluates a candidate’s knowledge, analytical ability, writing skills, and understanding of governance and public administration.
